Noot. We have actually seen Noot have a good start and against a sec team in a big park. Cowens one start was against ULAR and melted like ice on a Louisiana highway in August.

Noot, followed by Eyanson.

Jay has communicated he believes it is harder to adjust from a slower throwing pitcher to a harder throwing pitcher than the opposite.

Imagine we go Cowan on a short leash, then Noot, and figure it out from there.

Didn’t know he pitched yet in Omaha? Change your tampon and take a seat. Jay knows. :insertclownemojiflippingyouoff:

Cowan. Has the starting experience and his stuff should play in the Chuck. Plus his last great outing was vs the pigs

Or just start Shores and see how far he can get youm he has only thrown like 30 pitches this weel

Shores' low pitch count thus far is not being talked about enough. With the stuff he's been showing lately, we could extend him tomorrow in a huge spot.

Cowan & save Eyanson for an if necessary game or multi inning save tomorrow.

This is the type of game you recruit Zac Cowan to lsu for. Postseason insurance after you’ve burned through your other starters

Don’t hate this because he has thrown a lot of college innings and if he gives you a good outing it sets up your pen nicely for the weekend.

But I think it’s too big of an if to try in this spot

but he is a bad fit to start against Ark

He threw three scoreless innings against them in our series. In a bigger park where the long ball doesn’t come into play I don’t see how he’s a bad fit

I think you start Noot but have cooper Williams and also chase shores if the game is close ready to go. If we are down I think you have to throw the Johnny whole staff. Williams, meyers, Schmidt, primeaux, ware rizy.

Why? The zone got tight, but he was close and gave up soft contact. I didn’t lose any confidence in him.

No way. He’s a guy you consider in a high leverage situation when you need a strikeout, but a walk is acceptable. You don’t need to roll the dice on his command being off, and putting yourself in a hole in the first few innings.

I get the sentiment, but that was over a month ago on 5/9. Since then, we’ve seen him get rocked against some teams that have a less potent offense than Arkansas.

I mean he went 3 innings of shut out ball against them last month in a less pitcher friendly ball park…. Soooooo there’s that.
