Gee both coaches are hard headed and stuck on a methods that will get them fired. Course you can read the Miles putt to see how Paulies is gonna break. One gone and one going.

If Mainieri loses to lowly Alabama, he should be.

All I'd like to ask is why in the hell a coach was given a contract through 2024?

I mean that's an insanely long time to be committed to anyone.

Yet, nobody in Louisiana's legislature can find the money to help with the state's budget problems.

They both have coached at LSU for 10+ years, yes.

is it burnout that causes coaches to behave like this?

if you're actually thinking that Mainieri being fired this year is a possibility, keep dreaming. It isn't happening.

If Miles can be let go, anyone can.

Another stupid bump from months ago. Why do so many of you hang your self worth on these worthless arguments? You need something...anything in your lives. Seriously.

You have to admit things were looking very bleak after the UK series. Our two aces got shelled, bullpen was weak, and the bats were non existent

I'm glad we were able to turn it around but I don't think anyone on here including the Positigers thought we were capable of a run like this

More from the rainbow and unicorn crowd, where it's traitorous to have a negative opinion about someone unless you're willing to say it to their face.

LSU's baseball coach, like LSU's football coach Miles, is consistently in the top 5 in recruiting, and similarly like Miles, can never seem to finish the year in the top 8 after winning the one national title.

What an absolutely astounding load of bullshite and awful comparison.
Mainieri has 6 SEC tourney titles. He has been to CWS four times. He is still at the top of his game even though there is infinitely more parity in college baseball than college football.
Miles can't hold Mainieri's jock strap as a head coach.
