Thank you. This is what I have been saying all along.

At first I thought he was just referring to coaching changes when he wouldn't be more specific until after the season. But, after hearing more of the clip he said aomething like "this is the team we have right now, this is the team we have to play with. Which sounds like there may be some player moves as well.

this is why I laugh at people on the SEC Rant who think we're jealous there's no one main rival. LSU fans hate LSU fans.

Mainieri will make the offseason adjustments following how this has season played out....

This is not what we are use to seeing when it comes to LSU Baseball and it's been horriable this year to watch and even listen to at times. But this kind of stuff can happen from time to time, yes even at LSU....

I don't expect Mainieri to let this happen next season. I have faith in our coach and in our program.

pitching is a big deal though. I know we lost one this year....not sure about previous years.

and Zach Lee - can't remember if he was a football or baseball signee

Football. But could you imagine a core of Von Rosenberg (so), Colvin (So), Lee(Fr), Gausmen(Fr), McCune(Fr. The first three were almost assuredly going to play at LSU but bailed at the last minute. One even getting as far as registering for classes.

All of that, and if Renaudo doesn't get hurt and take all year to get back to being at least an above avg pitcher, and Matty Ott doesn't disapear as the closer LSU almost assuredly hosts regional and Super regional last year. Possibly makes it back to CWS - probably doesn't win but gets there.

Looks like he needs to be making changes right now.

His changes will be personnel, so he'll have to wait. Last time he cut "over-rated" players, he followed it up with a NC season.

Mainieri took full accountability for LSU's 4-14 SEC record this year, saying he's made some mistakes that will be corrected after the season is over.

nice way to assure yourself one more year of fat paychecks.

dude, get rid of that picture, you're going to give someone a seizure

Maybe the coaches & players should look at it and transform them so that they can coach, hit & pitch better this year...

Yeah, but when I hear him say "I've made mistakes" and "this is the team we have right now" that might be interpreted as "I've made mistakes recruiting players that suck" which would be throwing them under the bus if that is what he is hinting at. We're all assuming that he's talking about the assistant coaches.

I feel that if our catcher from last year was back we would be much better! Two of our starting pitchers are freshmen and could use a very experience catcher to get them through the tough spots. What we have are 2 inexperienced starters and several inexperienced releivers that could use the guidance of an experienced catcher. I expect that next year with the 2 experienced starters and relievers we will be much better

That's not what I said. I said at first i thought he meant just coaches then it sounded like he was referring to players as well.

So, it's ok to say he made a mistake withthe coaches he hired but saying he made mistakes recruiting is throwing people under the bus?

When did it become "throwing them under the bus" to point out that players aren't performing?

This is a big problem in this country. "Let's not bruise anyone's fragile ego by saying they aren't performing as well as they should be".

The people accusing PM of throwing people under the bus are the same people saying "bench this player, bench that player, cut this player"
