Just think he'll be able to tell his grandkids he threw THREE touchdowns against LSU albeit in a 38-21 loss. Still pretty cool

I remember when LSU tried to play a "smart" walk-on QB from Harvard named Andrew Hatch. I think he lasted two or three games before literally getting knocked out of football.

This is correct. I hate when people on this board don't understand how lines are made. Vegas (i.e. betting facilities) want even money on both sides. If the line is set incorrectly, Vegas will lose their arse by professional gamblers who know better and are just waiting to jump on such an opportunity. If the line was 45 there would be no money bet on LSU.

What do you want? Should they just forfeit the game? Nothing wrong with the coach trying to pump up a 5th string guy with some confidence.
I still want LSU to beat them by 40, but it just seems like bad karma to pick on a team that is having to put a guy on the field who is not necessarily qualified, but forced into action due to injuries.
