Unless the Macklemore vibe is parlayed into getting few recruits our way.

No way Jose. Macklemore probably appeals to less than 1% of our targets.

Okay, I get that. But regardless of the entertainer a halftime party like atmosphere will take place. I really think that has the potential to be remembered, "that LSU sure is a cool place".

By not bowing down to corporate pressure to change who you really are and by being true to yourself.

Or something like that.

Why are you laughing? If he was gay it wouldnt be an issue but gay rights are huge and hes exploiting that to sell records.

I can't fault him for it though. The sheep in this country eat that shite up. I just think his music is absolutely fricking terrible. I don't care about the message he "tries" to put out there.

The only entertainers that could play that wouldnt have half of this board in bitchfest would be the Beatles and maybe U2. Anyone else and this board would bitch from one side or the other. Whether or not you personally like his music, Macklemore is one of the biggest entertainers in the world right now

Macklemore is everything an artist should be, controversial, original, thought-provoking, entertaining for better or worse.

If you don't like him, good. If you like him, good. Either way I think he'd be a positive for Tiger Stadium.

Well, then I guess the Beatles is the only band that could play that wouldnt cause a Tiger Rant melt
