They already have for the most part.

I think it'll be back up around 35-40 in a couple days.

Is there a more definitive source than Twitrumor?

The LSU curse strikes again. I tell you what, it's been working it's arse OFF this season for us.

Nutt placed some bets prior to the suspensions.

Here's the official AP story.

Nutt suspends starting QB, leading rusher

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi coach Houston Nutt has
suspended starting quarterback Randall Mackey and leading rusher
Jeff Scott for Saturday's game against No. 1 LSU for violating team
rules.
Nutt did not say what the violations were, but says the
suspensions could also include the season finale against
Mississippi State.
Mackey has started the past six games and thrown for 1,112
yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions this season. Backup
Zack Stoudt has thrown for 542 yards, two touchdowns and seven
interceptions.
Scott has rushed for 529 yards and six touchdowns this season.
Rarely-used running back Korvic Neat was also suspended.
Ole Miss announced Nutt would not return as coach next season on
Nov. 7 after the Rebels lost their 12th straight SEC game. He is
coaching the remainder of the season.

Scott is Ole Mrs best and fastest player, that is a huge loss for them. I hope we beat them by 50.
Living here in Memphis it always good to see an Ole Miss beat down!

Doesn't make any difference whether you went to LSU or not- it's what's in your blood...I am a Southeastern grad, but have lived & died by the Tigers since I was 10.

We could beat them with just our freshman and rs freshman. I'll even give them the choice of qb. Won't make a difference. If we don't win by 50 its cuz LM doesn't want to embarrass them too bad.

I am sure nutt's line of thinking here is'" Miles suspended three of his starters against AU, that worked out great for the tigers!".
