It's a tough situation. One that is personal to him. Obviously it's far more likely that he signs with the Astros if they get Aiken, but things aren't as cut and dry as may think.

And Marshall would be running the same risk.

Well they have. They just also continued onto college and all ruined they arms. Every one.
Tyler Beede was a figment of our imagination.

Yeah, I would like to know how many high school pitchers have said "This is the amount of money over slot that I want." They get that money and then 4 weeks later say "Nevermind I want more money" and then go play college ball.
Not many, if any.

Florida never got a first round pitcher to play for them. Not once.

Marshall never told the Astros how much he wanted and the Astros agree to give it to him. Different scenario.

You are stupid as shite if you think those scenarios are the same as this one.

Mac responded, he sent this:
not sure what it means, but I think it's good

Would the Astros even be able to pay him the $1.5 million they agreed to if Aiken walks? I would think they run the risk of losing all 3 if they lose Aiken's slot money.

I can quote all of it and you still don't know shite.

No

Yes, they could. They would just be hit with huge penalties.
