Mac Jones is slow, but he’s not a statue. He moves incredibly well inside the pocket, which is really all you need from a mobility stand point to be an effective QB

Brennan looked stiff in the spring game, probably due to rust, but he moved really well in the pocket 2 of the 3 games he started for us. Vs Miss St. you could tell the lack of protection surprised him but after that game he was excellent in the pocket and moving to his right.

Mac had much better foot work, poise, and accuracy than Myles has ever displayed.

Myles when blitzed crumbles like a stale gingerbread cookie. He cannot RUN unless there is not a player within 10yards and only then could he maybe pick up eight. If the OL is not worthy of perfect execution will he be able to survive the Bamas, TxAM of the world. His arm is legit, his IQ is strong, but he still panics in the pile of humanity and is not able to function, that’s is the reason JD is here. But I think Nuss opened his eyes a little in the spring game under game like circumstances. Brennan is a veteran, smart leader and that’s what CBK sees and wants also

Completely up-to o-line and blocking calls.

Brennan ran for 3x's the yards in roughly the same starts in HS.

What does high school have to do with it? Was he playing SEC teams then? He’s like 27 years old and while talented, clearly the slowest QB on the team.
