Had to share! An aging NOLA blues man & former vocalist for Blood, Sweat & Tears. He replaced David Clayton Thomas.

It’s an awesome version, I had this for the Capital One Bowl in 2010. TGBFTL unloaded in front of our RV and they’d never heard it. They were loving it.

Used to catch him over at Paparazzi back in the day.He was one wild dude. Glad to hear he is still alive and ambulatory.

If interested, Luther & the big band do a set about every 60 days at Monkey Hill in NOLA. Trick Bag is still the tightest brass in NOLA; 2 trumpets (sometimes 3), 3 sax including a Bari & trombone. Plus the bass, guitar & piano of course.
Some of these guys have played together for 30 years & you can tell.

Only in NOLA can you add 7 brass & call it the blues :-)

Yep... the original came out during 2003NC.

Haven't heard the "Oklahoma yo mama" version in a minute...
