"Went" to the Oregon game (as in bought a ticket and then sold it to a friend when I couldn't go).
I got to go to the Women's Bball point game and that was is, I was working during pretty much every other point game they had.

the BCS gave those to LSU at a discounted price to be used for students. LSU made the upper bowl tickets student tickets on their own.

Wow I had 125. I guess im glad I got in a group Bc I wouldn't have gotten lower bowl anyway. Only 1.75 away

People can still cancel their order until Friday I believe is what the email said. I expect at least a few people to be surprised they got a ticket, and realize they cannot afford the price. Don't lose all hope just yet.

What about friends that are more diehard LSU fans that dont happen to attend the university? Over some frat guys who didnt go cause they passed out before or just didnt feel like going to a game.

BCS committe gave the schools 1,000 tickets without their "cut" I'm assuming.
LSU decided to take 1,000 additional tickets from their allotment and give to students, but those are at cost.

People will complain no matter what the point total is an no matter what the ticket office does
There will always be someone right under the line, no matter where they put it
The cutoff would have been 131 this year if it was the same as it was in 2007...so 108 is a HUGE dropoff

Probably a lot less likely than someone bringing a family member who went to 1 or 2 games or a gf who sold all her student tickets at the beginning of the season for a coach purse.
108 meant all home games, 5/6 plus two away games, or 5/6 plus one away game and two "point events". So the their is still some effort required, even for the drunk frat bro.
