It's always a safe bet that UGA will be better than Ky. The gump scheduler didn't know UGA would get the injury bug, but he still succeeded in ensuring a Bama west title. No, LSU turned out to be crappy on defense but trade UGA for Ky and we still only have one loss and could still potentially win th west and still make a BCS bowl.

Quit trolling. You're going on three pages of this nonsense.

It's already been answered by another poster.

It's not equitable. With all your posts, I know you've seen this answer time and time again.

Knock it off.

Those schemers snuck Ole Miss on our schedule as well...and didn't account for the injury bug there either.

That same Ole' Miss team Alabama beat 25-0 when they were healthy.

Well, Bama wouldn't lose to UGA no matter if they are depleted or not. To ensure a title would mean that LSU and A&M are inferior competition.

If UGA was all that, Bama would have had to play them in the SECCG anyway, but they aren't so this argument that our fans are still having is pretty silly.

not quite, the loss at UGA against a team that without the injuries was clearly the best in the East, took away our oops game that turned out to be Ole Miss. Even Bama had that slip up game last year with AM. The worst part about the UGA loss wasnt the loss itself in my mind, we wouldve been just fine had we won out. It was the fact we lost our safety net so early for a time like this.

That isn't the point. UGA's record doesn't reflect the team we played. Kentucky's does. Tennessee's does. UGA isn't the same team that beat us.

It doesn't help out schedule's record that we have handed it 6 losses either.

Out side of three games...LSU's schedule is 22-26. Those three other teams: Auburn, A&M, and Bama. Bama plays Auburn, A&M, and LSU So...really...how much harder is it REALLY?

After losing to Ole Miss, especially under their circumstances, schedule strength no longer matters.

I think it would be apropos for LSU to go into Tuscaloosa and take its fifth victory there out of the last six visits, and sit at home watching Bama smoke Missouri for the SEC Championship.

Then go on to win another national championship. Our starting defense leaves early last year, and our starting offense leaves early this year.

The only thing that remains the same is Miles complete and utter lack of clock management skills with no motivation to even hire someone to do this for him.

Alabama has the team to win championships, but I don't think you can debate their road could have been significantly more challenging.

I think we return a solid O line.

We lose pretty much the bulk of our skill positions though. I have faith that Cam can develop one of our QBS, and hopefully we get a plug and play RB. WRs is gonna be a big question mark

Alabama's strength of schedule is actually harder than LSU's this year.

Their opponents have a COMBINED .657 winning percentage this year.

I could be wrong, but I think I've seen it stated that Alabama played back to back games versus teams that finished over .500 during their championship runs only one time, and they lost.

LSU and A&M last year.

I'm really not in a defending LSU mood right now, but there is no debate that most SEC teams would have traded bridge schedules with Alabama the last two seasons.

Good case for why preseason polls should not exist. Week 6 is probably a good time to start them up. Now we know TCU and Florida are trash, and Auburn is much better than expected.

If you are tore up about the "stacked" schedule for LSU, wait till Hootie commits to Bama in a few weeks. And God forbid LF follows suit on NSD. You won't need a SSN after that. Enjoy.

I don't understand how these are related at all.

Guess I shouldn't expect logic from a gump. Yalls recruiting has absolutely nothing to do with the bridge scheduling advantage Bama received the last 2 seasons.

Our schedule is a lot like Notre Dame's was last year. It looked much tougher on paper before any games were played.

What the heck does recruiting have to do with you piss poor schedule for this year?

And I didn't realize you had a crystal ball either. Thinking mighty highly of yourself, aren't you?

Get lost with your garbage.

Exactly.

Funny they don't want to admit it.

Beat a terrible VT team, yes, I'm very aware they are undefeated since then but look at who they played.

The same can be said for Bama. Look at who you played.

They play to their competition. Looked like crap against VT, still had a game with KENTUCKY at the half, it should've been over at the 2nd qtr, a barn burner with Colorado State but you know they'll be nice since it's Mclewain (sp?) Bama's former OC coaching them, A&M on the road, that's the one game I will give them.

See you on Nov. 9.
