DP doing work.

I do agree that LSU has depth issues at some key positions but there is no excuse for getting beat like a drum by State. The issues go deeper than just what's on the roster at the moment.

Sick of the excuses from O's boys.

Miles was fired because we were losing too many games with the talent on the roster. Because the offense was stagnant with too much talent. Now the offense is freaking worse and the excuses don't stop.

I tire of the narrative. miles was fired because he was no longer competing in the SEC west. our SEC record stunk and our talent on offense, other than RB and WR sucked. to expect O or any coach to come into this situation and immediately win 10 games is ludicrous. maybe he won't work out but at least reasonable people should give him a chance.

But that was the narrative. Any dumbass can recruit and win at LSU. Keep moving the goal posts.

LSU's wide receivers -

Stephen Sullivan - 4 star - .9407
Drake Davis - 4 star - .9406
Derrick Dillon - 4 star - .9252
Dee Anderson - 4 star - .9211
DJ Chark - 3 star - .8728

LSU's starting RB -

Derrius Guice - 4 star - .9777

LSU's offensive linemen -

Austin Deculus - 4 star - .9772
Garrett Brumfield - 4 star - .9517
Toby Weathersby - 4 star - .9497
Edward Ingram - 4 star - .9217
Will CLapp - 4 star - .9054
Saahdiq Charles - 4 star - .9038
K.J. Malone - 3 star - .8656
Jakori Savage - 3 star - .8400

The talent on offense, on paper, is ridiculous. The level of ineptitude we've seen thus far on that side of the ball is inexcusable.

Look at the above WR list and their respective rankings. Is it talent, or a failure to develop players?

Miles did it for years with the same offensive mindset that's why he was fired. Everything is new. Not too many adults can start a new job and master it in months. These a kids

What fricking bullshite. Chark, Davis, and Sullivan have shown that they are playmakers once they get the ball. Each one is an athletic specimen

Dillon and Gage are at the very least reliable options.

The problem is protection for the QB, inefficient playcalling, and Etling's hesitance to pull the trigger and tendency to hold on to the ball too long.
To say there is no talent or depth at WR is simply willfully ignorant.

No it really does not there is a problem with the linemen knowing to block and then there is still the case of some like Malone just plain getting beat because he was a 3* project to begin with
