I have friends from there (going back many years). Just never heard that "patois" described so well before.

Washingtons defense might be as good as ours, just different. Browning is better than Burrow by quite a bit. It will all depend on the o line play.

Well, you can always go cheer for your boy Herman.
Burrow is here because of our coaches and there is no doubt O is just the same as far as motivation. He’s had to motivate this team to think they can win in spite of our own fans and the entire media.

If our fate rests solely on this group....we're screwed!

According to MSM pencil-necked sports writers he is. But don't bet all your lunch money on that group-think opinion.

^^^ this is correct. Joe B. can shut a lot of people up this weekend. Or rather get them talking about something else.

Finna be 1-0 @ Auburn Stadium

In experience with his WRs.
JB has that NFL corner fade outside shoulder where it’s either caught or incomplete. JLee almost had that pass.
JB has the quick slants and crossing patterns down as well. The WRs need to get better catching them and running sharper routes.
By season’s end and next season, JB is going to be everything Lee and Mett were supposed to be.

He’s calling out the oline.

We'll see what this offense and Joe is once the offense settles in. IMO you can't honestly judge until they've had time together.
Steve E/Sullivan/Robinson/Cregg all need to do their best job of coaching this week and have a real solid game plan for Auburn. We really need to see some conventional screens, Bubble screens, Jail break screens, RPOs with short quick routes and I would really like us to use more 4/5 WR go routes when they bring pressure.
It usually leads to big yards and they will run into an open area pretty quickly. Have a wheel route with it so the LB or safety has to choose who to cover. Use Jefferson and Chase to recognize the blitz and have their hot route run into the voided open area. Use those two to simply adjust to the blitz all game. Always have something short and move the pocket. Teach these darn WRs how to come back to the ball and use their body to shield so the DB has to go through them.
Use some back shoulder passing attack and practice one on one high pointing all week. Auburn never turned for the ball last year. Chark did what ever he wanted to that secondary. I think Joe is a better overall QB than Etling is. Teach these WRs how to secure the catch first, then spin, juke or stiff arm their way to the open field. There's going to be lots of one on one coverage. Take advantage of it.
A few years ago Miss State used one WR to run into every open voided area of our defense and he got tons of yards on our very good defense. I would do the same this week, using Chase or Jefferson or both.
I would mix in RPOs, screens, draws, jet sweeps and use as many WRs/TEs/RBs/FBs as I could in the short game while this one guy was motioning all over gaining thier attention. It's time we out smart someone and just game plan better. Steve E has the mind for it, he just needs to open up.
Use PA later on in the game when you've got their front worn out and you've hurt them a bit in the pass and run game. Use some RPO to draw in their LB then pass to the WR who's running into that open space. Use double moves to get separation. Use our big WRs in the RZ or 3rd down. Be creative and have that badass defense looking around like who the hell is this? Mix in some hit em in the mouth plays every now and again but I would start the game passing short to open up everything else.

For O and E's sake, I hope they open things up this weekend. Burrow is either hinting at things to come or he is subtly calling out the coaches.
Burrow says in Highschool, he was most accustomed to four wide offensive plays out of the shotgun. How much of that will Aub see? Maybe a lot.
