Magee is our best all around back right now. Hill is our best runner between the tackles by far. If Hill gets the majority of reps as most of us expect, he very well may develop into our best multidimensional all around back.

No, he isn't. Hill is the best back on the team.

LOL, I've been wanting to say that for a while now. It's hilarious every time I see a post of his.

I will take big and fast (Hill) over small and fast (Magee) any day. I am exaggerating a little of course. It's not like Magee is a small back. It's just that Hill is a man among boys. Blue is a good back. He just can't stay healthy.

Hill may be a good back, but he is currently ranked 9th in running backs for 2016 draft, probably projected for 6th round pick, behind these:

1. Todd Gurley
2. T.J. Yeldon
3. Duke Johnson – Miami
4. Melvin Gordon – Wisconsin
5. Mike Davis – South Carolina
6. Keith Marshall – Georgia
7. Matt Jones – Florida
8. Jonathan Williams – Arkansas

LINK

Blue is currently ranked 8th RB in 2014 draft

Hill is as good or better than every back on that list.
The fact we can pass at will this year will only help him this year.

If he got as many carries as Gurley his stats would be similar IMO.

At this point based on stats alone the nod goes to Gurley, but I wouldn't trade Hill for Gurley.

True. But what happens when the opponent decides to bench Will?

Hill is coming out in 2014 and will be a first or second round pick

Now I KNOW that some fans just follow a rabbit down a hole rather than coldly enjoy football. Alice, one pill makes you bigger... need to balance that with the other pill. 1st or 2nd round pick? 2014?
