DIETZEL: 1961 Ole Miss. Kept OM from winning the title. Even Dietzel called it the best win of his career.

CHOLLY MAC: 1965 Arkansas (1/1/66 Cotton Bowl). Maybe the biggest upset in college football history. A 7-win LSU team that scammed its way into the Cotton Bowl beats an Arkansas team on a 22-game win streak.

(Special shout out to 1979 USC. A loss, but maybe the most mythic game in LSU history... we were robbed)

STOVALL: 1982 Florida St. The oranges are on the field!

ARNSPARGER: 1986 Alabama. Eric Hill makes the strip fumble. We win the SEC!

ARCHER: 1987 Georgia. Wendell Davis being awesome. The Earthquake Game is overrated.

HALLMAN: 1993 Bama. Pigs fly. It was fun.

DINARDO: 1995 Auburn. Bring back the magic. It truly was magical.

SABAN: 2000 Tennessee. Rohan to Reed. rohan to Reed. OT win, and the game that launched Saban era.

MILES: 2010 Bama. Eating grass. The fake.

ORGERON: 2017 Auburn. DJ f'n Chark. The comeback.

My preference would be the Bama game in '82. First win over Bama since '70 and sent Bryant packing.

I was at that game - it was a fabulous win. Dietzel called the 61 Tigers the best team he coached.

Jim Corbett pulled off a miracle just getting the Tigers into that game. My Tennessee relatives were livid that the Vols were not selected. Some odds-makers had Arkansas a 21 point favorite. Labruzzo was all world that day.

Curley Hallman

11/12/94 Home vs USM (L 18-20)

It was the nail in his LSU coaching coffin.
