Disagree there. It will be a snoozefest at 11am unless if an offensive explosion.

Bit of good news, 10 day forecast is calling for 40% morning thunderstorms. Maybe well get a nice 3 hour rain delay!

So your saying that it would be better if people had to still show up at 5-6AM...then got rained on for an extended period of time and then went to the game

This really is about drinking I think

So lets say 550 yards of total offense and 32+ points....that meet your standard?

I'd say that is highly likely if LSU plays like they are capable of.....we are bigger, faster, stronger, and way more talented than Arkansas based on what I saw of them against OM on Saturday.

It happens some times. 11 AM in November is much, much better than 11 AM in September!

So you're saying New Mexico at Texas A&M and Tennessee at Missouri are worthy of primetime?

Really? lol

What they're saying is that LSU-Arkansas is worth more to be on the MAIN espn channel at noon than being on ESPNU or SEC Network in prime time. It woudln't be a clean swap otherwise we'd be in primetime.

Im not setting a standard, im simply saying the only way people are into an 11am kickoff is if it's exciting. Scoring a shite load of points is usually exciting.

That's what happens when only 3 out the 8 conference games are home games. Seems like LSU has played every sec team on the road this year.

Why??? Is LSU something special compared to any other team in the country????

What?? Not enough time to get drunk????

The players HAVE to show up, so why not the fans??????

Normally I would agree with you, but here's my issue. There are other "traditions" in the league that the league has for whatever reason decided remain "sacred". For instance, the schedule can't be changed because Alabama MUST play Tenn. each year; Same for UGA vs. Auburn. Then, you had over the last few years A&M's desire to play a game on Thanksgiving. It was THEIR big tradition. One they felt so strongly about that they left the Big 12 (where they could play Texas every year on Thanksgiving). That meant LSU had to play on short weeks just to placate A&M's "tradition".

LSU's tradition is playing night games. This isn't 1970 or even 1988 where only a few games a year were on National TV and the schools were happy to move a game time for the exposure. Now every game is on TV. If LSU playing a night game means it's shown on ESPNU or SECN instead of ESPN @ 11:00 am, then so beit. But if other "traditions" are so important, then why isn't LSU's?

That's why I'm down voting you!

And yes, I'll be in my seats by 10:30 and won't leave until the last play is run.

BUT that doesn't mean I'm happy or like it. Our tradition is night games. Plenty of other schools/conferences prefer day/morning games. That's fine...let them play then. The atmosphere in Tiger Stadium is far superior at night than it is in daytime.

When have I said I am happy about this????

NONE... BUT.. What bothers me is the SO-CALLED fans that are upset by thinking the team will play poorly and they don't have enough time to PARTY to get INTO the game.... The players have ZERO choice... Think about it.............
