The team you need to watch in the SEC that will rise in football and baseball is Tennessee. They have some of the most money in the SEC up there with Texas/TAMU. Wouldn't be shocking to see them outspend LSU in baseball.

Well there's the overall cap of $20.5M, so if Tenn outspends LSU in baseball then it means they're spending less on football and basketball. I doubt they would spend too big of a percentage of that revenue sharing cap on baseball since they stand to profit a lot more off being good in football and MBB.

And now NIL deals will be run through an NCAA oversight / clearinghouse to make sure the deal reasonably appears to be a valid endorsement or business deal and not being used just as a recruiting enticement.

The biggest thing for baseball is going from 11.7 scholarships to up to 34 which LSU will fund most of those every year. That in and of itself is a lot of money back in those kids pockets instead of the partial scholarships they were getting.

Like someone else said, There will also be other baseball money like the TOPS portion of the scholarship for most instate kids should be able to be pocketed now instead of just part of their grant in aid.

I swear there is a national conspiracy to push women’s basketball. My Facebook and YouTube reels are nothing but fricking Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. Like wtf is this about. It’s about the worst women’s sport I can think of to watch.

Tennis, gymnastics, softball, and volleyball are so much more fun.

There is an element generally missing from those sports that basketball does have, but I’m not looking to start a pissing contest.

That and the overall cap won’t survive court challenges

WBB lost $8M they shouldn’t get a dollar til they make a dollar.
Make each sports its own revenue center and self funded!
It’s a business not a free for all hand out.
You lose money you won’t survive long.
