Gray has better stuff and more upside than Nola. Yes, Nola is a beast, but Gray has elite ability. LSU's lineup was the difference. But, I will say Nola out bulldogged Gray tonight and he deserves all the credit in the world

Laird, of all batters, owned Gray tonight..

Nola eats Lairds for breakfast.

Wins and losses are a terrible way to judge a pitcher.

Well to be fair, its more like LSU's lineup >>>>> OU's lineup.

OU's pitcher was every bit as good as advertised.

Nola was also pretty impressive but he just doesn't have the same stuff as the OU pitcher.

Of course Gray has the better stuff.

But our boy Nola reaches down and just pulls that ish outta him when the game is on the line! He wins.

The guy pitched lights out. Tigers got to him late as he was tiring. Great game. Nola had fewer pitches, able to finish.

Lou's lineup is much tougher to pitch to than OU . Lots of pitifully swings and 250 hitters.

OU is an average team at best with anyone other than their ace on the mound. Nola was very good but it wasn't like he was mowing down murderers row or anything.
