Not sure if this is the correct place or not, but they are part of the LSU system...

What JUCO World Series (location or conference) does LSUE get involved with?

I live up in Grand Junction, CO, home of the NJCAA World Series, and I'm looking through past teams/history of the NJCAA and I don't see any involvement of LSUE mentioned anywhere.

Do they play elsewhere? If not NJCAA, who are they grouped with?

In other history, guys like Ryan Jorgensen and Nick Stavinoha have played here in the NJCAA Tourney... :CSB:

LSU-S is ranked #1 and is in the NAIA college world series with a record of 51-4

looks like a good year for LSU system baseball

Grand Junction is d1 juco

LSUE plays d2 cause they like to say they champs even though it is way worse competition than d1

wish they would play up to d1 like Delgado does but then they couldn't win it every year

Sounds like they need to man up and come out west!

Is division 2 JUCO one step above or below high school baseball?

I'm curious how Delgado feels about losing to these inferior teams every year.

Surprised nobody has blasted you for saying lsu-s is a part of LSU system. But yes, all lsu schools are doing well. Very good showing of our state.

It is a major step above high school ball.
They would be in the RPI top 150 with a D1 schedule. Put them playing Southerns schedule and they win the SWAC. They would be a middle of the road Sun Belt/Southland team. I promise you those kids can play.

No i don't have a son on the team.

They split at worse

Go check the records over the last 6 or 7 years

Joe sheuermann ain't afraid to play the best even though he could play d2, delgado is d2 but wanna play in the best postseason

Can't say the same for that fraud who runs the Eunice program

I can't speak personally for the Eunice program because I have no connections but competition level in D1 and D2 Juco isn't that big a deal. The way scholly limitations are and draft eligibilty at the Juco level tends to send some great college ball players to all Jucos.

You are sadly mistaken

The big time juco programs play d1( the San Jacs and Pensacolas of the world)

The talent level of the two world series' is about the same as comparing the sun belt to sec baseball

Well I've played against Pensacola, Delgado, Bossier, Gulf Coast, and Meridian. Wasn't really overwhelmed by any of them and split with them during the course of the year, with restricted recruiting, but that's just me.

I thought LSUE played D1. They are a very good JUCO team and they beat some pretty solid teams in Gulf Coast, Meridian, Jones and Pearl River by very lopsided scores.

I understand and it is the same as southland or sun belt beating lsu on week night

But the postseason is a different animal

My point is LSUE would have maybe one trip to world series in Grand Junction as oppossed to winning d2 every year

Well that's funny they pitched their Aces in those games. You might remember them Doug Thompson and Kevin Shipp.
