Think Lsu proved last season in it's opener that the duck's can't hang with very physical and aggressive defense. Got to have time to pass and it won't be there with Bama OL in their backfield.

A big part of LSU's win last year was special teams turnovers ... take those away and the game looks alot different. If Bama and Oregon meet in the BCSNCG, I think Oregon gives the Bama defense fits. Hell, LSU exposed the Bama secondary, and I think Oregon has the skill players to do the same.

10-2 would be a success considering the injuries and dismissals. 2 losses was not ok in 2006 or 2007 but this year I'd say it's a good year.

You have no idea how bad I want those Gumpers to lose to Oregon if they both make it to the BCSNCG. I usually pull for any team that makes it to the top from the SEC, but no way would I cheer for Bama this year. Can't do it. In my heart I don't think Oregon can beat them, but I pray they do. That being said, GO DUCKS!!! I know, pretty sad, but still sad over that loss. Our guys played their hearts out and should have won. I feel sorry for MS State on Saturday.

most likely scenario is as follows:
1. LSU wins out at 10-2.
2. georgia loses to bama 10-2
3. florida loses to fla. st. 10-2

LSU highest rated in BCS Polls. LSU and georgia have 2 sec losses while florida has 1 sec loss.

I don't know how the sugar works in this instance. are they allowed to pick whoever they want (LSU) or whoever is highest in bcs polls (LSU) or are they required to pick team with fewest sec losses (florida).

As much as everyone is disappointed, I too am hopeful that we'll win out and finish the regular season 10-2. And honestly, I really don't care which bowl we go to. If you're not in the BCS championship game, it really doesn't matter which bowl you go to as long as it's a good game against a good opponent. For me, the Sugar, Cotton, Capital One, Chick - Fil - A, and Outback Bowls are all great bowls that I'd have enthusiasm to attend.

Oh, and by the way..............I think there's a good chance that Alabama could lose to Georgia and / or Oregon. It would be great if they didn't win the SEC or the BCS and just ended up in a bowl just like us.

Gump fans are losers, I have lived among them for 35 years. They still think they beat ULM! U want to talk about the Ducks having a soft schedule I guess u haven't keep up with Bama's schedule or u don't know much about football.

As a realist, do you honestly believe the Ole Miss game this year is going to be a walk-over?

Every year the Rebels put up a halfway decent team we have to sweat our arse off for this game.

I'd put LSU's odds at a touch over 50% for it. They could be our BCS Buster.
