A big part of LSU's win last year was special teams turnovers ... take those away and the game looks alot different. If Bama and Oregon meet in the BCSNCG, I think Oregon gives the Bama defense fits. Hell, LSU exposed the Bama secondary, and I think Oregon has the skill players to do the same.

Exactly Kenyon Barner will not give the same type of turnovers he did when he was a freshman against LSU. And I get the lol about the defense but outside that track meet with SC and those 51 points, they have not been that bad. And SC has a pass happy offense with three first rounders in Barkley, lee and Woods. Lastly it would be hard for me to pull against the SEC in the BCSNCG, but in this case I would make an exception.

I don't know how the sugar works in this instance. are they allowed to pick whoever they want (LSU) or whoever is highest in bcs polls (LSU) or are they required to pick team with fewest sec losses (florida).

I believe UF would still go to the Sugar Bowl under those circumstances. LSU lost at home and to UF. UGA might would go but I don't think the voters and bowl would jump on that team bringing a ton of fans to NOLA after they get hammered by Bama. Florida would be on a losing streak going into the game but I believe the UF fans would be a huge draw for the Sugar Bowl. We haven't been anywhere near a BCS Bowl since Tebow left and the fan base would be thrilled to make the trip back to the Sugar Bowl in Muschamps second year.

I do not think we lose to FSU though so all of this is for not. We finish 11-1 and go bowling in NOLA!

I want them to get cocky, and play like shite in the NC, and get killed. That being said, I do not think that Oregon can do it. I think their High powered finese offense will fold when they are physically beaten at the point of attack. This is one time I hope I am wrong!

I agree Oregon with the layoff will loose rhythm on top of being physically dominated. ND and FSU, that have good Ds may have a better shot to beat Bams.

I hope Alabama blows out whomever they play for the NC

Why? Bama winning the NC is nothing but bad for LSU. It widens the gap between them and the rest of the SEC.

If UF drops their last game to FSU, the Sugar Bowl will not take a 10-2 UF over a 10-2 LSU. Y'all have a reputation of travelling poorly for bowl games outside of the state of Florida, unless it's the NC game. After the past couple of Sugar Bowl games not selling out, I think the SB would take LSU because they know we'd fill the Dome even if we don't spend a lot of money in NOLA.

LSU beat Bama with a power running game, that made their safety walk up to the second level, and with a passing game that was good enough to beat the resulting depleted secondary. Maybe Oregon can move the ball on Bama, but you can't draw conclusions from the LSU - Bama game.

My opinion? Bama rolls them by 9. Would be more, but Saban protects his 4th BCSC by playing conservatively.
