Sorry but just because someone thinks we've take a step back the past few tears doesn't mean their in love with Saban.

Hell. I think Saban is the best coach in college ball but I'd have a case of the a$$ if he came back here.

i think you guys are missing the point of my post.

he said what happened 8-9 years ago has no effect on today....yet the Sabanistas will tell you that the reason Miles is successful is because of what he did 11+ years ago.

No. I think they are pointing out that when people throw out "average" results for Miles' entire tenure that those AVERAGES are skewed heavily by the results of the immediate 3 years after Saban. Is that even arguable?

Just look at the various stats threads of today.

Since 2005 there has been 8 National Champions:

2005 - UT - Fired Mack and have not even smelled success since.

2006 - Florida/OSU
2007 - LSU
2008 - Florida _ meyer left and have not smelled success since
2009 - Alabama
2010 - Auburn
2011 - Alabama
2012 - Alabama
2013 - Florida State

So of the years you are talking about there have been 4 teams besides LSU able to "win the game that matters" as a fan your life must suck. There are approximately 105 schools out there that would love to have what LSU has yet for someone so small minded it is not enough because it is not what Alabama has done...

Sad really sad.

We have averaged 10 wins per year since 2000 (152 wins (if we beat ND).

They haven't won a title in the 1 year since Mack? OMG

Not their fault he left. Is their fault they chose someone who has zero head coaching experience to replace Urban.

Fired National title winning coach, have already played in one, and have shown they are gonna be near the top for awhile with new coach.
