They don't mean anything this early in the year. Win the SEC and you're golden. If we beat an undefeated UF and USCe, we'll get the benefit of the doubt.

You need to look at the bigger picture.

Higher the ranking, the more lucrative the television spot = more money for LSU

I don’t think Ohio is a bad team but of the wins, ours is more impressive.

I thought Ohio looked good but not top 2 or even top 3.

OSU won at home. Yes they were breaking in a new QB but so was Texas and it’s much easier to break one in at home.

LSU went to a “hostile” environment and came out with a win over a top 5 team.
