3 gimmes right off the bat (as usual)
Furman = win
Kent State = win
UAB = win
70% chance or greater for a win
Arkansas
Ole' Miss
Auburn
TCU
Miss State
That's 8 right there without playing a good opponent
So basically all LSU has to do beyond that is beat either Georgia, Bama, Florida, or A&M
So I'm thinking 9 wins won't be all that difficult

The problem isn't winning 9 games, that's a pretty safe bet. But if we win 9 and lose to Bama, Florida, and possibly A&M, what have we accomplished?
Our season has come down to 1-2 games a year and as long as we don't win those games, we will not be playing for national championships. But the Miles pumpers will tell is to accept that because we won 10 games. To me if we go 10-2 next year and lose to Bama and Florida/A&M, then we haven't beaten anybody and we underachieved.

Ole Miss does not belong here. They return pretty much every player and have coaches with a brain cell.

9 wins is a loser program for a program with the resources LSU has. That means you are probably .500 against teams in the top 50 of FBS. That would be good for Vandy or Ole Miss.

I picked LSU to go undefeated this season after the spring game. It was all there...something just didn't click.
