And force him to roll left, where his completion rate is 20% less.

Watching the Tulane game now. They brought almost no pressure and sat in Nickel all night with 2 deep safeties. Even though Ole Miss was lining up with a TE or multiple running backs most of the time.

Lane definitely drew up some nice plays but Tulane was playing super conservative. At least in the first half.

Looking forward to seeing us pressure him. We do great when we send 5. We rarely don’t get some one through since we bring the 5th guy from so many different spots.

Chambliss only has two starts at Ole Miss, but there is plenty of film on him from when he played D2. Baker will figure him out and have the D ready. He may have a decent first half but Baker is a master of second half adjustments.

Worried about lane slipping their backs out and baiting us into blitzing.

He's not a complete idiot until 4th down rolls around

I think Reliford is a good player and was improving. He had 8 total tackles(4 solo) and no sacks on the year. People are acting like his production is irreplaceable.

Good example of a player who didn't show up on the stat sheet but significantly helped his defense. He will definitely be missed.

Pressure up the middle and let the LBs and safeties cleanup.

If our D-line can occupy 5 with 4,…I like our matchups against backs and TEs.

Mr. Perkins time. I hope to see a replay of the Arkansas game from his freshman year. He spied the QB and took his running out of the game.

Absolutely you know Lane wants to use that aggressiveness against them

Ole Miss is gonna make some plays on offense. Chambliss is going to break 2 or 3 long runs on unscripted plays out of the pocket and we've may well bust one coverage and give up a big pass play.

They will score more points and get more yards than any team has on us previously. But that doesn't mean this is not a very good defense we have. i just think the nature of college football these days completely shutting down teams is with good offenses is just really hard to do.

We just need to score enough to overcome - They will not score 55 like they did two years ago, but they may score 21 or 24.

Concerned about the lane breaking down, leaving their backs free and luring us into a blitz.

Lane knows how to scheme against a team that over pursues. Got to contain QB, Perkins as spy seems like a good plan. Definitely a chess match between Lane and Baker.

Tulane just doesn’t have the athletes to play man against a quality P5 opponent. That’s why it’s so fun watching Baker call the defense right now.. DBs can man up and nothing is off the table

Wtf is buddy gonna do when no one is open and he's getting pressure up the middle while being spied/getting a delayed blitzfrom Perk/Whit? I haven't seen him in such a situation yet. If he's smart with the football in those situations, we're in for a very good game. If he acts like what one might expect a D2 transfer to act like, we're going to see Austin Simmons in the 2nd half.

Blitz and have Perk cover the back.

Yeah this isn’t the same old Tulane teams of the recent years. They aren’t good this year. They had a nasty d-line last year.

We don’t even need much pressure besides our dline and let perk and keys play clean up. I think we use Keys more than West this week for sideline to sideline sleed

The key to the game will be to force Chambliss to pass. I expect lots of pinches and torch stunts to push Chambliss out of the pocket. Weeks and Perkins will spy on the outside. LSU has the DBs this year to hold man coverage long enough to put pressure on the QB.

I'm calling at least 2 INTs thrown by Chambliss.
