The average computer ranking has Boise only one spot behind Alabama. As far as points go, Boise has .850 and Alabama has .900.
Boise's computer ranking will go lower but so will Alabama's. If Penn State and Florida each lose 2 of their remaining 3 games (which is very possible), it would not surprise me if Boise jumps Alabama in the computers. I am not saying it will happen, just that the computer rankings will be very close.

i think its a real possibility if stanford/okie lite both lose. b/c LSU has already beaten oregon and bama- who in this case would be possible BCS title game participants- the media proved in 06 they dont want to see rematches. a boise st championship game is closer than anyone wants to admit.

1. We all need to remember the voters have the final say so with that being said
A. If we go undefeated all the way & ok st, stanford, & boise go undefeated we will play ok st. Considering the margin of victories against their big opponents. Bama had their chance @ home & couldnt get it done plus nobody wants to see a defensive game for the national title.
B. If ok st loses to Ou we & stanford beats oregon we play the cardinal if stanford loses also & boise wins out we will play boise

Boise has reached their ceiling. No way in hell they make it to the BCSNC game.
Provided we keep doing what we've been doing, we'll be there.
Boise doesn't deserve to be there. Screw that shite.
When Boise branches out and quits playing cupcakes with a couple, literally 2, decent games in their schedule, I may rethink how I feel about them.
They'll go to some BCS game and get their arse handed to them. I really want them to play Bama. That would be brutal.

I mean I don't like Alabama anymore the next diehard Tiger fan but I would love to see Alabama torch them.
The last thing Boise needs is the media to get ahold of something similar to, "Well how about Boise? See we were all wrong. They should've been ranked higher. etc"
No way. Not trying to be a jerk to you, you know me, but I would love to see them get torched in whatever bowl game they get in to.
I'm sick of hearing about them, mainly because they want the world handed to them and ask "why not?" and they don't think about SOS.

I don't hate Boise like some LSU fans, and I think it's unbecoming for a fan of a school of such stature as LSU to be so damn worried about Boise. Their fans may be annoying but nowhere near as annoying as the Gumps. I laughed my arse of when Utah beat them, but lost a few dollars in the process.
Boise is what they are, and I don't know why they get such a rise out of our fanbase. There is little chance of them making it to the NCG, but beating Bama wouldn't hurt me in the least.

I agree with most of this. I'm just tired of the media hanging onto Boise. Then again the same can be said for Alabama.
Yeah, I know what you mean about the Utah game. Every SEC team won their bowl game that year except Vandy and the untouchable Bama.
I guess it's just comes down to pulling for teams within the conference. For me.

I usually get down for a game a year, this year will be the NCG or bowl. Year before I cheated, and the UDub game was the game....
Last year was the Cotton Bowl. I hope like hell it isn't Boise, and think Bama would have a good chance of staying ahead of them in the rankings. LSU deserves better than BSU in the NCG.
