re: LSU will host Fla in BR 11/19...LSU will play at Florida in 2017

Let's worry about next year...next year. Winning out this year seems impossible to a lot of people, but if Les was the problem, and we have the talent we say we have. We have mitigated the problem and should have at least a decent chance against any future opponent. Winning out by running that gauntlet would certainly give the committee something to think about

Why do I think Alleva knew this when he made his hols declaration of LSU having a home game Nov 19? Not sure this is so awesome for the Tigers.

Overall Florida loses 1 home game and LSU loses 1 home game. Florida loses 2 home games this year but has an extra home game next year while LSU loses 0 home games this year and 1 next year. I just hate that 2 years in a row we don't get to play 12 games, it sucks!

An elegant solution to what had become quite the conundrum for sure.
Gator fans won't be happy, but they are getting fairly compensated with two consecutive years of hosting us in 2017 & 2018, and this is in the best interest of Baton Rouge as the community here desperately needs this for a home game.
Death Valley will be a rock'in come November!

Does anyone know or have credible information about when tickets will go on sale?

Sorry if I missed this, but is the SEC footing the bill for the South Alabama buy out?

Just booked a trip from Boston to Baton Rouge for this game. I look forward to taking part in the public shaming of the Gators.
Geaux Tigers!

Maybe it is the best solution. After all, we wouldn't want the Gators to have to play a game with so many injured players...

This. LF7 got screwed for the Heisman and overall rushing stats with that game being canceled last year. It was totally overlooked.

you'd be using the S. Alabama ticket

Revisionist history... Heisman voters don't give a damn about McNeese in week 1, regardless of the stats. LF7 got bottled up in the games where he could have won it in November, bottom line
