LSU WBB stays #24 in AP...are they not getting enough respect?

It seems they aren’t getting enough respect from the polls. Besides it taking way too long to appear in the Top 25 (apparently beating Missouri and then Tennessee and Georgia all within a two week period wasn’t enough to get enough notice the following week despite having more Top 25 or even Top 15 wins than many of the teams already in the Top 25), I feel like they still aren’t getting enough respect this week (with some voters still not voting for them at all).

Despite finishing ahead of Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas A&M in the SEC, we’re still ranked far behind them.
We still have more quality wins than many teams ranked ahead of us.
Tennesse moves up 3 spots this week for beating a SC squad without Wilson (which we could have done even with our offensive flatness that night...she was monster for them that night vs us), but has some recent losses that make me think they’re ranked too high, especially for finishing 7th in SEC. It makes me think lots of voters aren’t even really paying attention.

Being good in women's basketball really means nothing, it's either almost UConn good or UConn. There's maybe 2 teams a year who can challenge UConn, if you're outside of those Top 2, you're not going to win anything.

So.......................................winning the SEC is "nothing"?

To be honest, I am just happy to see them ranked.

I guess Cleopatra got a hot iron put to her backside this year..........

She seems to rest on her entitlement laurels, and I don't doubt she could be a good HC, she does not recruit along conventional lines: a) She does not compete for top-shelf-recruits; b) she subsists on transfers and malcontents; c) she is not consistent in her performance; c) she is way overpaid.

So they did make the top 25! Did anyone forget what she inherited from Sue Gunter, Pokey Chatman and Van Chancellor? Cleopatra makes way more money than the previous mentioned coaches........AND SHE LITERALLY RAN OUR PROGRAM INTO THE GROUND.

Tennessee is looking hard to replace Holly Warlickr and I know Cleopatra wants to be at Tennessee. The Vols will not allow her to loaf like our incompetent Athletic Director has done at LSU. I hope Cleo bolts to Tennessee, I really do.

Our AD has to be replaced before I trust that Cleo's replacement will be competently handled. IMHO and considering the facts, I'd like to see Pokey Chatman return to LSU. The SEC would be afraid BUT I don't know who else would be afraid as well....

He’s a classic troll. Has to constantly bitch and whine about something, even stuff he knows nothing about, just to make himself feel better about his sad, pathetic little life.

Why are you always saying the dumbest shite. It means a lot to these ladies that there having a pretty successful season. Your the same one who said a couple years ago that playing fullback was a simple position in football. It clearly obvious that you don’t know a damn thing.

The USA Today Coaches Poll came out today, and they still haven't cracked the Top 25 in that. They are the 5th team outside the Top 25 receiving votes.

We have wins over 4 Top 25 teams and finished ahead of 3 ranked teams in the SEC standings...a team like Mercer is in the Top 25, 0 wins over ranked opponents, but they have a 25-2 record. Syracuse also in the Top 25, one win over ranked opponent, 7 losses total. NC State, 1 victory over ranked opponent, 7 losses as well...and there is more.

Just wish the team would get more respect. It could benefit the program in recruiting.

If we want to have a program that can be built into one that can contend with UCONN, it matters. And people said the same thing about UCONN last year, and look what happened...

Hope they prove them all wrong in the tournament.
