Alabama fans could argue that they could have lost 3 games this year.

Florida should have lost to South Carolina.

We play football in the SEC, where all the teams have very good players.

yup. we weren't that far from being undefeated and for everyone who says we were only a couple of plays from being a five lost team in reg. season, well, EVERY team can point to a handful of plays that mean a couple of losses or wins every year.

they just completed an undefeated national championship season which is really unheard of in the sec, while we just seen another 4 loss season. we are goin nowhere as long as miles is here.

Lot's of truth to that statement.

A healthy team for 4 quaters and we beat bama. I don't have a doubt in my mind.

If Miss State does not have a brain fart on offense and instead run Dixon at the goal line LSU loses to Miss State. If MSU has any type of QB at all LSU gets beat by 2 touchdowns I have no doubt in my mind.

That's sort of the point. The reason Tiger fans are so down on the program came down to a couple of games. In 3 of the 4, I feel like we SHOULD have won.

Bama is on top of the world but they SHOULD have lost two games (LSU and Tennessee). Especially the Tennessee game. A pretty makeable FG blocked by a 360 lb-er. That's a freak accident!

Hopefully we have better luck next year. A lot of the teams we play won't be as good as they were in 2009. We get a few breaks and improve a few things and this negativity festering around the fanbase will be washed away.

Winning cures everything. Here's to 2010.

You must mean Auburn right? Not LSU should have won. Bama just went undefeated in 2 years in the SEC. They finished all of their games. This was not by accident Bama did this. LSU is 1-8 versus top 25 teams in the last 2 seasons. This is the real Les Miles. I am still in disbelief that some of you think Crowton is going to do a good job next year? There is more evidence to think LSU is going to have another year like the last 2, not a breakout season.

On Defense and Special Teams? 11-1.

Our defense played like a team that didn't want the offense to get back on the field. It's like we were depending on #7 and #3 to get a pick 6 each per game.

Hey whatever guys, if you want fill yourselves with the world is coming to an end go ahead.

We all want change..be realistic about it, and hope for the best

There is some truth to what you say. Things are not going to change as far as a coach and the recent results. I think we keep Les for a while and can look forward to fighting it out for 2nd place in the West for years to come.

If we're happy with 9 wins as a peak...keep him around.

i think the point is the way we play under miles. what i mean is underperforming in almost every game, struggling to beat teams like la tech, troy, miss st, lafayette.
not playing the best player, not developing players like lee, jefferson, & k. williams . the stuff he says, quotes after games, about why player x didn't play, about everything. people are just getting tired of his act. especially when he is one of top paying coaches in the country.

I was saying similar things after his first three years. miles was very close to being 22-18 instead of 34-6. luck will only last so long. it's a shame people are just now starting to see it. wish skip would have been able to see it before giving this goof the world.

the thing is, his 1st 3 years he had the same problems he has now, poor clock management, stupid penalties, playing seniors instead of the best player, to some people that was fine because he was winning, but now that he is losing all of that is glaring.

why is it that you and others continue to misinterprit his comments. when he said we were close, he obviously meant we were close to being as good as bama was and they were the national champions. we are close to being where he wants us to be as a team. geeeez, you're contempt for him is one thing, but putting words in his mouth so you can ridicule him is really low.

What do you expect him to say?

For $4M a year, I expect him to take responsibility for the poor offense, whether the issue was QB, Oline, play calling or all three. He should justify why he is keeping the OC that coached us to 110 ranking in the nation. He should explain what they are going to do the turn things around and win those three games. Miles is being paid by the tax payers and therfore he should be honest to those that pay his salary. I'll gladly take 11-1 next season but it's not going to happen.

After Miles explains the previously mentioned information, Aleva needs to explain why he kept Miles and Crowton and what his expectation are for next year. Aleva owes this to tiger nation so we know what his expectation are for tiger football.

maybe it seems miles is ok with just being in the games against bama & florida whether he wins or lose. miles will never strive for perfection, saban & meyer does & you see thier results, & you see ours the last 2 years.
