Why with the brutal schedule that we face every year would we want to play USC?

Doesn't matter anymore. The fans hav decried that the team is not championship caliber, so why not cater to the fans and give them gave they want to see both home and on the road.

We get one game every few years non conference worth traveling to, and we get 2 big SEC games at home a year, with alot of home rent-a-win louisiana teams.

usc had no problem traveling to auburn or arkansas to kick their asses, so i doubt they care

lsu fans dont want this, especially under miles.

usc would crush lsu.

The split title thing is stupid. A game any year other than that year would not settle anything about the 2003 title

+1 couldnt agree more

USC may schedule tough OC teams but thats because they have to make up for there weak Confrence. LSU is reversed. We have to shy away from the Power Houses from other confrences because of the gauntlet we have to run being in the SEC.

Its still wayyyyyyy better than the Pac 10. Hell the 2nd tier teams, Miss state, USCE, Kentucky etc are better than the pac 10

Still too early. Conference rankings can only be determined in bowl game match-ups. UCLA beating UT in Knoxville is a blemish, but UT is still two years away from being competitive on the national level.

What a douche, I have my opinion just as you have yours but that is no reason to insult me.

And by the way O-state looked really good in that thursday night game. Wasnt it like the 3rd quarter b-4 they crossed the 50??? Held to something crazy like 2 total yards? Yeah real impressive.

Look at USC's OOC schedule compared to LSU's over this decade - your statement is complete BS.

OSU fan , I don't think you have the right to talk about the sec teams being weak or strong....the last 2 sec teams OSU played
Fla 41
OSU 14

LSU 38
OSU 24
the weak big 10 teams are no gauge at all

I ponder this. Blame it on the time zone.

Would love to but many of those are home games.
