Meh, elite teams overcome QB issues. Look no further than Bama the past couple years needing to switch QBs in huge games. LSU in 2007 had to have the backup start the SEC championship game. LSU in 2011 at Bama switched QBs midgame. I'm sure there's a bunch of other examples. tOSU in '14 or whenever it was that they used 3 QBS and won a title.

LSU comes out flat usually because so many guys are going probably, and they play non aggressive in years past. Nowdays they just sit out.

I feel like LSU has had a few bowl games that led to some changes. Or at least kicked the conversation.

Split title brought teams to schedule an extra game or conferences to go ccg route.

The Bama rematch had more and more people wanting a playoff.

And obviously, if UCF wins, the 8 team crowd will get louder.

Just give all D1 conference champions a slot. End of story. No drama. You win your conference, you go onto the playoff. That way you take out any subjective bias.

When you add in criteria that G5 has to be ranked in the Top 10, you just create the opportunity for bias to keep G5 teams no higher than 11. Would just further the issue we have now.

LSU didn’t show up vs Bama with EVERYTHING on the line.

I agree its huge but it's a issue for us to hold our end to put their shite to rest as we will be missing 3 of our top 5 players on defense pretty shitty imo, really sux

If I were not a fan of either team this game would be interesting for one main reason...How important is strength of schedule.

It matches a team that plays no one and always wins with a team that has a very tough schedule every year and loses 3 or 4.

If LSU crushes UCF then UCF should never get a vote for the top 25 until they start scheduling ranked teams for their non conference games.

if these Tigers can put up 72 points and 570 yards on Aggy they will have enough offense to beat UCF.

Are you expecting a 7 OT game?

LSU should win this game. But the question is, at least to me, is which offense is going to show up. Will it be the offense that destroyed the Georgia defense. Or will it be the offense that struggled against Arkansas, or the one that took the second half off against SE Louisiana. A majority of our games this past season, the offense vanished for a quarter or two per game. That's a problem.

In the Texas A&M game, the offense gained 169 yards and scored 10 points in the first half. The offense gained 192 yards and scored 14 points in the second half.

That's 361 yards and 24 points at the end of regulation. Plus the defensive touchdown, gets you to 31 points during regulation.

Again, the question in my mind is which offense will show up.

Other way around actually. Power 5 schools sustain injuries from going up against other power 5 schools. If a group of 5 school is only good when its 100% healthy then that's apples and oranges.

Eh....the reason for the 'Big 8" discussion is because Ohio State has been left out....the whining over this by the Midwest/Northeastern media never ceases....UCF will probably be like Boise State....good for awhile....but not long- lasting....

What y’all need is credibility through SOS. Credibility can only be earned.

And lol at your sense of elitism.
It's eyeroll worthy whenever someone says UCF hasn't played anyone.

It shows how far removed you are from reality.

You think that the gap between a school like LSU and a school like UCF is far greater than it really is.

Besides Auburn, name your top 5 biggest wins the past two years and where they are ranked nationally

Don't hide behind the numbers that some committee attributes to teams.

The AAC's good teams are just as good as any P5's good teams. We have our bottom feeders just like any conference does. The AAC has one elite team. UCF. The ACC has one elite team. Clemson.

The only question in my mind is:

Is LSU an elite team this year or a good team.
Will this game feel like our game against a good Cincy team, or will you feel like our equal?
