Think all of these stories have this one as an origin.

Apparently, Oregon fans believe it as well..

It wasn't that Tech wanted us to come there first. We wanted to play them in Baton Rouge and have the "return" trip be at a neutral site. It was a totally one sided deal and they were right to refuse it.

I read the rumor on here a couple
of days ago. So I texted a friend of mine that goes to TTech and asked if she had heard anything.

She hadn't heard anything. But she posted to her fb status to see if anyone she knew had info. Cracked me up when oe person said the tubberville had mentioned it so now we have wait to see if LSU is too chicken shi to play them. Just thought it was funny.

I can understand their refusal, but I don't think a home/home with TTech would be very beneficial to LSU at all.

big brother (UT) won't allow that

they can't stop it, Tech is a conf opponent, they can't not play them, how is Arky playing A&M every year at Jerrydome for the next nine years

the rumored game is not exclusive to the season opener as well.

I think it would be a season opener only deal. The start of season game held at Cowboys Stadium is the same idea as the Georgia Dome game we're playing in this year...as far as I'm aware, the only other college football game in Arlington is the "Cotton Bowl". Not to say that Jerry wouldn't like to see many more there, but I don't believe there are any other deals as of now.

Texas does not want us anywhere near their state in a big neutral site game. (or any SEC school for that matter, but especially us.)

Like Jerry Jones gives a shite what the University of Texas thinks. All Jerry cares about is making money and winning the Superbowl. Jones played football at Arkansas and the Hogs have a long term deal set up to play Texas A&M there at Jerry World. Dallas is a big area OU and Texas fight over for recruits but personally I would rather see a game like that be played in Houston because that area is full of LSU Alums and it is a fertile recruiting area for LSU.

What happened to LSU vs Oregon? Forget Tech, I'd rather play Oregon.

if its a neutral site game I would much rather it in houston as there are tiger fans everywhere around here. Reliant stadium may not be jerry world but it is still a very nice stadium
