So unclutch
Though a bit of bad luck there
Fortunately for TCU the aggies can't hit worth dick

Pretty sure some catchers do that so pitchers can read the signals easier

Yeah he's the catcher. Makes it easier for the pitcher to see his fingers to read the pitch calls.

Gotta love the redicilious things the announcers say. "Hendricks throws his body in front of it to preserve a run" he didn't even see that ball much less intentionally try to stop it.

I'm going to sleep; I don't care anymore. They'll probably still be playing when wake up in the morning.

For the pitchers to see the signals.

top 15, groundout 5-3, 1 out
groundout 5-3, 2 outs
groundout 6-3, Aggies down in order again

bottom 15, strikes out looking after a long at-bat, 1 out
17 innings is the record for the longest Super Regional game, will this break it?
lined to right after a very long at-bat, RF drops the ball on a sliding attempt, runner on 1st, 1 out
runner goes on a pitchout, failed hit-and-run, thrown out at 2nd, 2 outs
strikeout looking, time for the sweet 16th...

This game just won't end.

I hope not.

Shades of last weeks Houston/Rice game...ouch!

Why does it always seem like it's Texas schools in these marathon games? TCU went 22 innings in their regional last year, and Texas has the record for longest game ever.

top 16, groundout 6-3, nice scoop by 1B, 1 out
the pitchers will get enough time to rest that it shouldn't matter, unless one has a very extended outing
walk, first Aggie baserunner since the 12th, runner on 1st, 1 out
strikeout swinging, runner advances to 2nd as the ball gets away, 2 outs
intentional walk, runners on 1st and 2nd, 2 outs
wild pitch, runners advance to 2nd and 3rd, 2 outs
strikeout looking to end it

So does this affect the winner at all, or do they have enough time off that it won't make a difference. I lean toward the latter, but idk.

Good question! Whats up with all of that! Thanks for the refresher..they like to say everything's bigger in Texas I guess??

Don't think it will make that much difference with them playing Sunday...could be wrong though...
A&M runners on 2nd & 3rd...2 outs

Won't make a difference one bit
Just fun to watch two teams struggle to score a fricking run
