27-24 Oregon right now. Just don't like the matchup at all. Chavis has trouble against this type of offense. Would like to see a healthy JJ in the fall before changing my prediction. Then again, we won't see him and will have to listen to Miles about how he looks. He told us he looked amazing before the Spring Game.

Oregon 41

LSU 24

I love LSU. I just think that this is the worst possible matchup for our defense. We look retarded versus spread teams. I will enjoy my shite sandwich if proven wrong.

Care to explain why this is so comical or are you just a huge LSU homer?

If our defense gives up more than 24 pts we are in for a long season. I think It's gonna be a beat down but we only 28.

LSU 28
UO 17

A lot depends on whether JJ has a good game. If so, we win by 10. If not, we lose a close one.

If we give up less than 24 it will be an elite defensive effort.

34-21 I love having so long to prepare for this style of offense.. I think with this long to prepare chavis will have an actual gameplan for this type of offense. Might help us alot for games against similar offenses later in the season when we dont have as much time to get ready.

Did I say that much? I thought I said last year's team would beat us by 20, but I could've said next year's team. Having said that, I do think Oregon should be about a 7 point favorite.

I hate how our D plays against spread offenses, and there's no way to practice for that tempo. I see a lot of people saying it's good that it's early but I completely disagree. You simply can't practice in-game intensity no matter how crazy your practices are. Add in that their tempo is something we've never seen, and I think it'll be tough.

Our running game and the crowd factor (will be 70-30 at worse) will definitely help though.

I think our size difference will be a huge advantage for us. I dont think their tempo will be much of a factor. see auburn ncg

Our defense was arguably better than auburns last year and oregon could only put what what 19? and it actually shouldnt even been that close because oregon went into panic mode and needed some lucky plays to convert.

Offense no matter what JJ shows up should be improved. We will have a good enough run game to let our defense rest and keep Oregons fast pace offense off the field....Oregon killed so many teams because of 3 in outs from pass hungry teams.....Throw that in with the game being on ABC to slow the game down...

Also throw in arguably the best conditioning coach in the game with great depth in our positions and Oregons fast pace wont hurt us as much as everyone things it will
