We can stop him. I really don't think their line can get him a Heisman performance against us

Its a good thing he was awarded tonight instead of after the Bowl season. I believe LSU's D tears him apart Colt Brennan style.

I don't know about LSU stopping him. I think LSU has to put up at least 30 to win.

I bet you thought Kentucky wouldn't either.

If we were able to play south Alabama the 3 weeks would fly by because 8 wins would already be in the bag.

But not have 8 wins yet and Lamar winning the heisman will make this the longest 3 weeks ever.

Louisville defense can't stop anything. I think our D line beats their O line everyday.

LSU 41
Louisville 20

Aranda is still pissed about the 4th Qtr of the A&M game.....Probably, best that the Heisman was awarded before bowl games.

If we don't get Alexander out if the game, it's going to be a long day. I know that Beckwidth is s great talent, but the drop off shouldn't be that bad.

White should be starting next to Riley.
Alexander wants no part of taking on blocks in the whole..
He is waiting 8 yards behind the line, trying to escape blocks, instead of blowing it up at the line of scrimmage.

Lamar is like trying to catch a greased pig. A skinny very fast one.

It could be a long night for our defense...

I believe the last time we played a Heisman QB in a bowl game it turned out pretty well.

quote:

Once the game commenced, LSU's #1 ranked defense held the country's most prolific offense, which had averaged 45.2 points and 461 yards per game, to 154 total yards (32 in the first half) and just one touchdown until midway though the fourth quarter. The Sooners' Heisman Trophy-winning QB Jason White completed only 13 of his 37 passing attempts for just 102 yards. He was also sacked seven times and intercepted twice. LSU's offense was largely supplied by freshman running back and Sugar Bowl MVP Justin Vincent, who rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown.

If LSU handle him like they did the Bama QB, pinching the pocket and preventing the outside run, they should be good. He'll get his, though. I'd feel better with Beckwith patrolling the middle of the field.

This. With Beckwith, I'd be quite confident. Now not so much.

We should still outscore them. The offense has been gettIng more efficient and unless we turn the ball over should win and cover the spread.

O needs to let go his ego and put in Valentine. The loss to FL falls squarely on O's shoulders and this game as well.

Grind it out with the run and keep Lamar of the field.
