Walker has been excellent. Our hitting has been... mostly subpar.

Thoughts?

It would be a huge series win. Ms State is pulling away. Arkansas still ahead of us. I feel like this is close to a "must win"

My prediction: I just dont have a good feeling. Lose a close one.

He's had a day off. I could see them bringing him in to face Deichmann late if needed. He's not totally burnt.

If blue is giving Walker the corners, and we knock out the starter...I feel good. Otherwise, all I know is that Kentucky can hit.

The ump in the second game was bad. Lange was definitely squeezed early.

That's close to the score I'm thinking. 6-5 Kentucky. Walker does well enough but the bullpen struggles. It doesn't end our chances of course. We still play Auburn (who I refuse to believe is as good as their record) and State who will be a tough team to play on the road. I think we can steal that one.

We take this one fairly easily. Walker holds them down and we get a couple home runs

Didn't he pitch about 4 innings? I doubt we see him again. Besides, he was good, but not great. How's the rest of their pen? Before the series I read they had good starters and the one good closer we saw and that was about it. Don't know if that's actually the case though.

Kentucky wins 4-2. I'm just not feeling a win. I think the temp could play a role in the bats going cold.
