Because of how this game and the SECCG went, I wasn’t particularly panicked on 1/9/11 until it became clear in the 2nd half that the worm wasn’t turning that night.

We had a qb working on first team all sec when miles jerked him for Jefferson. With predictable results.

When Maze got 42 yards on the first punt return, I started to worry. Why? Because LSU had only given up 7 yards total on punt returns for the whole year. I knew something was wrong.
When Jefferson missed seeing DeAngleo Peterson being wide open on the first drive of the second half (would have made the game 12-7), I knew the turn wasn't going to happen.
