In the past years this has always been a good game. Although they are not rivals most people see them as an unofficial rival because the games in the last years have been big ones. Who agrees?

Florida has always been my most hated sec team and I'm not even really sure why. I think it was tebow that did it

Its always been Alabama. Florida and Auburn as the top three.

For Florida a couple years ago the pass that Russell threw and a penalty was called on FL DB for pass interference then picked up was when they really started to piss me off and Tebow just made it ten times worse.

The fans are the reason.. Went to the 2006 game at Florida, the band got attacked by a florida fan for playing the fight song outside of the stadium before the game and walking to the stadium florida fans were getting in my face doing* the gator chomp, one actually scratched me on the cheek (I was only 12 at the time) couldnt pay me to ever go to a game in Gainesville again

This game likely holds a deeper meaning for LSU fans who are in the say 30-45 age range who grew up watching our 1990s squads literally get arse-raped by Spurrier coach teams in the 1990s. It seemed like every Florida game in this span was over by the middle of the first quarter.

I was born in 1978 and garnered an interest in Tiger Football in my early teens. We never stood a chance anytime in the 1990s. Seeing this series begin to take a turn in our favour in the early 2000s was strange to say the least.

I enjoy the Florida game. Hated playing it in the 90's, but now that our two programs are pretty even it has been fun.

I dunno, there is something about those effete, pansy-arse Ole Piss fans and their "Grove" that make me want to pummel a Rebel bitch.

I'd replace Auburn with Ole Piss.

Their QB was about as awful as he could be last year and they beat us. 61 yards passing and 1 yard rushing. fricking unbelievable that our offense was worse than that.

I've always enjoyed the series, and I think this year's game should be pretty good. Hopefully better than the last time UF went into TS.

Look forward to the jorts every year. Don't play a drinking game based on the times you see a dude with jorts on during the LSU / UF broadcast. You won't make it past halftime.

By the way. Florida is going to get pummeled this year by the tigers.
