They could very easily have chosen bama-tenn and let lsu have the night game
LSU #1
Auburn #20
Auburn defending national champs
Bama #2
UT unranked
Choice is clear: The LSU-Auburn game is a bigger draw.

Why in fricking hell are there so many whining babies on here about what time the game is at? It does not matter, day or night. LSU is going to kick Bama's arse. Bama having home field advantage doesn't mean shite, what matters is who has the most solid game plan, who is most balanced, and determined to win at the end of 60 mins. Given what everyone has seen this whole season outta LSU, have never seen them dominate every game, week in week out by double digits, they are making history this year. As a matter of fact, the BCS championship game and most bowl games through the BCS are played at night at the end of the season. And this game is being viewed as a semifinal to the BCS championship game and #1 vs #2 is a rare matchup on regular season and will define the true number 1. So makes perfect sense them making this a primetime game given what is at stake.

Okay, that makes sense.
I'm referring to the people who think bama gained some advantage with the time change.
The only reason i can think of to be upset about it being a night game is that the chances I get whiteboywasted and pass out during the game go up exponentially.

This actually works out for me individually....I have to be on a plane from 5:30 to 6:40 from St louis to OKC so I was going to miss the 4th quarter of a 2:30 game. Now I can be home in time or very close to kickoff

Don`t worry Authority. BDS`s atmosphere sucks anyway and is quiet and unimpressive. At least that`s what I read all the time on these boards.

Yeah I do think it gives them an advantage. I'm not saying the series of miscues and fall-starts we saw at Miss St. for that one series is going to happen multiple times, but anything to their advantage is one.

Lsu does not lose at night! We will win big. Book it!

I think people (and me as well) are a little pissed that we heard that "games can't be moved to night games, so deal with it" only to have a night game announced.
Also, we wanted an SEC game, at night, in Tiger Stadium. The powers that be moved just enough to say "Eff You, Tigers. We'll give you your night game, IN BRYANT DENNY! Hahahah!"
At least that is how it feels.
Ill take it a step further.
Does any one doubt $abun influence over bammers OOC schedule. And further more the move of this game.
I called it earlier in the week in my thread. Was told it couldnt happen and here we are.
ALso how is it that both teams have a bye before they play each other?
I'm calling it now....Bama will have a bye before LSU next year and LSU will not.

Maybe they'll be more impressed this time. They don't get to play night games in a 102,000 seat stadium often.

When have I said, or where has it been consistently stated, that BDS sucks? I don't think it's as good as LSU or UF but it's still a great venue that rivals most in the country. If y'all want some passive circle jerk, go back to the SECr.

Uh, when did we lose to Arky at night? Last year was a day game. 2009 was a day game. 2007 was a day game. Our home victory in 2010 was a night game, I believe.

No more of an advantage than a night game in Tiger Stadium.
Try adding a day of alcohol to the mix and see if the crowd mood is not impacted for a night game.
