I am assuming he means that TCU and Boise have played each other in each of the last two post seasons. However, the way he worded his post, I can see the confusion.
I always thought that putting TCU and Boise in the Fiesta Bowl last year was a disservice to all of college football. It did nothing to promote either team as a serious NC contender for 2010 since they played each other, and it did nothing to squash the NC aspirations of non-AQs because both teams played each other.
A Boise-TCU NC this year would be the exact same way. Neither team advances its cause. The asterisk placed next to the winner would make 2003 USC jealous.
