Did LSU play ULL during the Delhomme/Stockley era? I know they dodged Tech during the Rattay/Edward years.

tyft. I remember clearly back in '03 the delusional Tech fans raging about how we were "scared" to play Tech, and now that we finally scheduled them they would show who the real top team in Louisiana was. I just texted my ULL grad friend this tidbit.. he replied and said..
"Both Undefeated.. We got a shot.. yall aren't as good as yall used to be plus yall are playing sloppy"

i have a bet with a guy at work that lsu will score more than 42 and ull won't score more than 17. guy at work jumped all over it telling im going to lose, until i told ull never scored a td on us.

Teams will meet for the 22nd time on Saturday in Tiger Stadium ... Game will only be the third meeting between the teams since 1938 ... Last meeting came in 2006 when LSU opened the year with a 45-3 win over the Cajuns ... LSU has shutout UL-Lafayette 16 times in the 21-game series ... In 21 games, LSU has allowed just 22 points to the Cajuns ... On the other hand, LSU has scored 957 points over the 21-game span ... LSU is 32-0 all-time against current members of the Sun Belt Conference

We played on the road against a Pac-10 team and played an SEC bowl team at home in the rain. I'm sorry Cajun fans, but our season starts Saturday.

ULL just beat Kansas State and has a good offense. I think LSU will lay down if they get a big lead. I think UL scores 10. LSU 35- 10. The bad news is that we can't run on anyone!

Even though I am a USL alum, I feel LSU will win. As to anybody's arrogance about never ever losing, then look up LSU's record vs UAB and Miami of Ohio.
