Are we afraid that the name University of Louisiana will some how diminish our reputation? Do we honestly think people will decide to go to UL because the name sounds more prestigious? Come on people…hold your heads high and stop worrying about such trivial issues. It’s embarrassing!

LSU cant handle having a school with a name that makes LSU.....seem only as a "STATE" school! That is why the "Board of regents" (majority of LSU alum. files suit to block.
