Like I have said before...if Bama gets in then everything that the BCS has preached to us about all these years about every game matters and its your body of work for the season no longer matters...
It never did matter. The BCS has been a joke since Day 1.

What sad is that the WHOLE country is telling ESPN what they want to watch.. Yet, ESPN pushes Bama so hard for two weeks. Its easy to see now that $$$ is the main reason behind all of this.
ESPN has nothing to do with the BCS decision. And, they aren't "pushing" Bama. They're expressing the opinion that Bama is the second best team in the nation. You know what, I think they're right. And, I'm not "pushing" anything. That's really dumb. Seriously.

frick that noise- we already spent nine years shitting on USC's. I will not have us become a hypocritical fanbase touting our shared title.

Win it all or get nothing imo

I agree BMac. Even though the circumstances are different, I don't think I could accept an AP split title.

Really? Did you watch ESPN last night? All they kept saying was that Okie st was going to the fiesta and talking about the rematch like it was already set in stone. They weren't even entertaining the idea that Okie st could jump alabama.

They are trying to influence the outcome by making it seem like it is a done deal. They are just as likely to influence the voters.

why would Edwards basically ruin the show?

Because he is a Bama homer and it also fits ESPN's agenda.

They didn't even present an argument. They acted like it was already settled yesterday, even going so far as to run a scroll across the bottom of the screen during OSU's game that had Bama listed as in the title game. It was unethical and misleading

Is there any reasoning behind the computer rankings? I thought it was pretty much a given OSU would dominate the comp. Rankings after beating Oklahoma?

That's what they think. And, I agree. What's wrong with saying something you guys don't agree with. Does it ALWAYS have to be a conspiracy?

two things need to happen now, LSU needs to take care of business and finally maybe there will be significant change to the BCS

It was different because the AP was a part of the BCS even though they had their own trophy and LSU and USC never got to play.

I will say i think it is strange certain computers didn't turn out the way people expected. I'm not saying its rigged ... just odd so many people got it wrong.

Post the algorithms and you would have less controversy with regards to how the computers got to their final numbers.

They were running a projection thread with LSU/Bama in NC game. It didn't pass the eyeball test.
