Well, the BCS has proven it's utter worthlessness this year once again.

Hopefully the Tigers beat the living shite out of an undeserving Bama team and then, as much as I hate to say it, I hope congress gets involved in this BS joke of a system.

Schools are making tax exempt money on this, and it's time that they be forced to be held accountable.

Wolfe and Sagarin are both jokes IMO. There is no way you can tell me that Bama with 2 wins against top 30 teams in his poll should be ranked higher than OSU with 6 wins in his top 30.

Pathetic.

Yeah, sure. Taking the most likely outcome and than claiming that you have inside sources confirming it. You are the man bro. You are the man.

A very sad day for college football.

What I witnessed yesterday and all week was disturbing. I'll never view ESPN/ABC the same. Or college football for that matter.

They don't think much of their viewers if they believe they can get away with their push for Alabama.

Suddenly we have new terms like "the eye test," and "best lost." That's all subjective with no way to support. Convenient.

A conference championship is now worthless. Completely worthless. It didn't help us, it didn't help Okie State, and it didn't help OSU.

Instead, a division runner up with fewer quality wins gets the nod?

Fix. And that will be the conversation this month. The Bama choice will look more and more foolish now that REAL debate might occur.

So a close loss at home by Bama to LSU puts them in the title game. Stands to reason a close loss by LSU in the Superdome means a shared title.

frick that noise- we already spent nine years shitting on USC's. I will not have us become a hypocritical fanbase touting our shared title.

Win it all or get nothing imo

Oh I agree. Let's beat their arse.

But if the reasoning for Bama being there is true then the reasoning for LSU keeping it close is true.

Seriously. He doesn't get it. Now all of the Punxsutawney Phil's are coming out claiming their right to the prediction throne.

The 2.25 billion dollar contrac sealed the deal.

LSU had to play another game just for the right to play Alabama again according to ESPN. fricking bullshite.

They should require all computer polls to publish their algorithms. PERIOD. If they refuse to do so, then they are supporting collusion and corruption. I also think all poll votes that determine the BCS title participants should be made public and coaches shouldn't be allowed to vote.

It's pathetic that all this is done in secret outside of the Colley Matrix.
