We have to get by State first. We can’t have any kind of hangover whatsoever because State will be amped up to take down the #5 team. Even if we do take down State and Bama I don’t think we jump an undefeated Ohio State.

I honestly think you are right.
And that's even if Ohio State, Clemson, and Notre Dame are all undefeated.
Bama is being hyped up as the greatest team of all time. They can't just bump us up to #4 if we beat them. I think we'd jump everyone.
Plus, if they rank us #1, it's easier for the voters to justify keeping Alabama ranked in the top 3.
I'm talking the AP/Coaches polls. We would for sure be #1 in the CFP committee ranking if we beat Bama.

LSU will give State a receipt from last year book it! State is not the same team (they have talent) as last year and neither are the Tigers.
