I have no idea why our defense has started to suck. I have no idea why our d-line, which is possibly the most talented in the country, can't get to the quarterback. I have no idea why every linebacker has seemingly gotten slower and regressed as a player. I have no idea why Chad Jones is a ten times worse player than he was last season.
I have no idea what the root cause of this is. there is no logical reason the defense should be this bad. But it is.

I don't know what it is. This Tulane team gets get killed by less inferior opponents, but when they play us they come ready to play. Maybe we just keep shooting ourselves in the foot though.

I agree Baloo, but that's what I mean by the coaching has been poor on offense despite the stats and points put up. In several games, they've seemingly abandoned the run at the worst times.
Miles is a "good" coach, but he's been very lucky at LSU, and I hate saying that, because it started with the ASU game back in 2005.

you know what the problem is: there's barely a handful of fans and probably not a single LSU player excited about playing Tulane.
