We should wear white leather helmets for our throwback offense

So what. They drew from several past elements to create one alternate jersey. It is still clearly based on tradition, though. Some of you idiots act as if we've worn the same jersey for 100 years, and that isn't even CLOSE to the case.
I would probably prefer our usual "gold" for an alternate, but I still like this jersey. Don't get me wrong, I love our home whites, but it's good to shake things up. Thankfully, our athletic dept is doing this without going off the deep end. Going with the white helmets twice last year was a solid way to add a little variety. I hope they will keep doing the same and just rotate either the gold or purple with white helmets for one home game a year, and the standard purple jerseys for another.

I much prefer that gold to the yellow gold we normally sport. Always have. It just screams classic college football.

Strigfellow confirmed we getting the vapor untouchable 2017 and considered purple jersey, or matching gold helmet to jersey with sailor mike on helmet. Woulda loved to see mike on helmet.

Not usually a fan of throwback uniforms but these look fine. I especially like the gold color.

I like them, but the best unis in all of football are our all whites. They make me moist.

He's worried too much about stocking up on those god awful "Circus Clown" like purple panti-hose and purple shoes.
Why is that garbage even in the locker room?
The HC shouldn't allow it unless the entire team wears it.
Ya think Saban's going to allow a few of his players to wear red shoes and red panti-hose?..........

I like these. When I first read the description on dandy don I thought this sounds bad. But I think the pictures look great and I can't wait to see them on the field

Not a huge fan of the yelliw jersies, but all the little details are immaculate. Sailor Mike on the collar, the little Ls on the pants, the numbers on the helmets, ect. It's going to be an interesting look for sure, but I'd rather see this combo with purple or white jerseys. However, gold game gunna gold game.
