Worst match-up would be in Outback Bowl vs. Iowa. Hawkeyes, as usual, have faded badly down the stretch. If Carolina were to beat Auburn, it would be either Cotton or Outback for LSU.

Carolina - Sugar Bowl
Auburn - BSC Bowl (probably Orange)
Arkansas - Capital One

Cotton Bowl would then choose LSU or Alabama. The team not selected for Dallas would end up in the Outback Bowl vs. Iowa.

The match-up which would give LSU the best chance to win and perhaps move up in the final polls would be vs. Michigan State in Capital One.

why people are letting this stupid christmas morning excitement of playing in cowboys stadium cloud the reality of this amazes me

35 degrees in Dallas or 75 degrees in Orlando. No brainer to me, but do LSU fans want to go back to Orlando for the second year in a row?

A lot more to do in Orlando, but you can't tailgate around the stadium for fear of getting jacked.

BTW, the Ghetto Bowl has new Field Turf so yall don't have to worry about the playing surface.

The Cotton Bowl screwed us in 2005 when they picked Bama and we fell to the Peach. They also picked ND over us in the early 70's and we didn't play in a bowl. I still want us to play there if we can't get some Sugar.

plenty of safe tailgating to be had at the fairgrounds. wide open spaces. parking for RV's, and free shuttles to the game

Cowboy's Stadium is also a climate controlled Dome. DFW has plenty of sights and activities. And it's an easy drive for me.

A LSU/MSU matchup would garner a lot more national attention and interest than a LSU/TAMU meeting. I know I never get tired of watching SEC schools beat up on Big Ten schools.

We need some payback for losing to PSU last year. I'd like to see our guys on the new turf they got out there at the Shitrus Bowl. And for all you afraid of being stuck inna hood, do the Lynx shuttle thing. Visit their Web site for details.
