I'm hoping they come out excited to play and dominate. No matter how well they play, CLM will call the dogs off after 40 points. They'll start taking the knee three times in a row inside the 10 yard line and kick FG's after that. IF the defense scores and/or FG's get us above 50 points, CLM will shut them down. I never expect to see LSU reach 60 points with CLM as headcoach. I guess he doesn't think its right to rub people's face in it.

With their QB likely out, I don't think they can get much going against our defense. Their defensive strength is their front seven, but it's probably not as good as MSU's (or maybe even Auburn's), so we should be able to run on them. Their secondary is their huge weakness, so maybe LSU will throw a little more this week than the last two. I doubt Miles will want to embarrass them by putting up 60 points, so I would guess we'll air it out some in the first half while still maintaining a >50% run ratio, probably get out to a lead of around 30, then rely on the running game. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Fournette rested for most or all of the second half after picking up 100-150. Score: LSU 45, Syracuse 10

I really can't wrap my head around people predicting Syracuse to score 20+ points.

Their offense was bad even before their most recent QB1 went down.

This team's claim to fame thus far has been its front 7. It would take a miracle for them to score 20 on us.
