Watching Holiday Bowls yesterday and today and SEC football all year, LSU players physical appearance looks nothing like the Georgia or Alabama players. I know Coach TM conditioning programs are notoriously famous but we are falling way behind on the power and strength side....GEAUX TIGERS!!

There’s a big difference between a 18 or 19 year old and 21 year old

TV appearance is the best way to measure a team's S&C program. Good call.

The issue was what they did outside the strength program...

Some of LSU’s OL and DL looked out of shape and played sloppy last year. These guy fat content are not checked and placed under a watchful eye. Fat players will not perform well without good conditioning for endurance. Games are won and lost in the trenches. Tighten that up, Coach O and Coach Moffit.

What a stupid post. You clearly have zero clue of what is or is not monitored at LSU. Typical Choad logic.

Yeah I wonder why a team starting like 15 true freshman looks smaller than the teams with mostly juniors and seniors starting...

So LSU is aware of the fat linemen and do nothing about it?

I agree, but I think thats more of an issue with very young players and offseason cancellations.

Will look more physical next season.

this is literally all it is. A couple of our best freshmen look physically like NFL players already. (Gilbert and Ojulari). Hell even Roy looks like a freak. Honestly have no clue what you’re talking about. Only thing I can think of is you see some of our lineman that got fat during COVID and maybe some of the skinny freshmen WRs and DBs

I love guys who criticize Moffitt when none of them know a single thing about training athletes.

Did the strength and conditioning program change from 2019 to 2020...???? Why do we pretend that everything needs overhauled 1 year after the most dominant college football season in history...14 LSU player drafted and 5 first round draft picks last year appeared to have received atleast some coaching, strength and conditioning while at LSU. That hasn't changed....

5 star OL's generally start off bigger, faster, and stronger than 3 star OL's. For the most part you just have more to work with when your recruits coming in are naturally bigger and stronger and farther along. LSU S&C program does the best they can with what they have to work with.
